As\u00a0Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH)<\/a>\u00a0celebrates its 10th anniversary under Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), it showcases the power of strategic management and resource optimization. Since the Government of Punjab and RTEH Trust entrusted IHHN with its management in 2014, the hospital has become a sustainable, well-equipped tertiary care facility, offering free, quality healthcare to the people of Punjab and beyond.<\/p>\n

Expansion of Medical Specialties and Services<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under IHHN\u2019s management, RTEH has significantly expanded its range of services and scale of patients treated. The newest additions include explorations into Neurology, Dermatology, and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) care. The Multidisciplinary Tumor Board (MTB) has improved cancer treatment planning and decision-making, showcasing the hospital\u2019s commitment to specialized care. Recently, RTEH added open-heart surgeries, knee replacements, and spine surgeries to its list of specialized procedures.<\/p>\n

Remarkable Patient Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The numbers speak volumes about the scale and impact of RTEH\u2019s services Since starting IHHN\u2019s Pehla Qadam Program for clubfoot treatment in 2017, RTEH has fully treated 105 children, with 546 still receiving care. \u00a0Family Medicine services have helped over 500,000 people, and the Safe Deliveries initiative has ensured the safety of over 26,000 newborns and mothers\u2014all under IHHN\u2019s management.<\/p>\n

Training Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

RTEH excels in training healthcare professionals, receiving full FCPS and MCPS accreditation in ten disciplines since 2019. Thirteen residents have completed their programs, with a focus on research, management, social responsibility, and leadership, preparing them as future healthcare leaders.<\/p>\n

Sustainability and Continuum of Care<\/strong><\/p>\n

IHHN\u2019s strategic growth and performance management model, implemented via Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) with provincial governments, has not only revitalized RTEH but also established it as a replicable, cost-efficient healthcare service platform. A key advancement is the establishment of an electronic patient data system, ensuring efficient and accurate records.<\/p>\n

Future Prospects<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 10th anniversary of RTEH under IHHN is a celebration of sustained excellence. As with all IHHN-managed hospitals, our aim is to keep expanding its scope and presence to ensure all patients receive the highest quality care.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
