Indus Development Foundation (IDF) is a Canadian charity registered with the Canada Revenue Agency. We strive to create awareness about the healthcare needs of underprivileged patients and raise funds to provide them with equitable care.
IDF supports the Indus Hospital & Health Network in Pakistan to decrease health inequalities and enhance health outcomes for underprivileged communities.
Absolutely not. Indus Hospital is a 100% free-of-cost healthcare provider and has never charged a single penny for any medical treatment from its patients.

You have the option to support various initiatives at . This includes sponsoring specific patient treatments, contributing to ongoing campaigns, or donating your Zakat, Sadaqah, or general donation. To find out which campaigns are live, click here!
IHHN ensures quality, non-discriminatory care is provided to all our patients, irrespective of their eligibility to pay. IHHN employs Shariah Scholars to establish eligibility criteria for the patients coming in for treatment. All the patients undergo an assessment by our welfare officer to determine Zakat eligibility. Once approved, their treatment is funded from the Zakat account, with patients granting permission via a signed declaration. Patients who are not Zakat eligible are treated from Sadaqah and general donation accounts. After discharge, the hospital generates an internal bill for settlement by the Zakat Committee.
