A team led by Dr. Zain ul Abdin, National Manager, and Team Lead WHO Pakistan; Sajid, National Manager, COM-NET, UNICEF; and Dr. Zubair Iqbal, District Health Officer PS Rahimyar Khan visited The Indus Hospital Al-Ghazi Trust Campus, Bhong, and the Community Center, SoanMiani, Rajanpur.
They appreciated Indus Hospital and Health Network’s (IHHN)’s efforts in reducing the burden of disease and increasing access to healthcare services to some of the most underserved areas of the country. They particularly appraised the initiatives like Boat Clinic and multi-sectoral development with the help of partners to address the social determinants of health and the comprehensive, integrated approach towards primary care at the Hospital.
They also appreciated the role of IHHN in addressing the healthcare needs of the communities of Rajanpur and Rahimyar Khan district.
